The custom-built AltraBody Cambered Spider Bar is a speciality barbell that combines the Safety Squat Bar and Cambered Bar into one, with extra long handles.
It allows users to take the strain off their shoulders during a squat movement and helps to build great lower body, low back and upper back strength. This bar is superior for developing stability at the bottom of a squat as well as great core strength.
The Spider Bar will primarily build your lower body, but it is worth noticing you must engage your upper back much more using this bar compared to regular Safety Bar Squats (and ordinary barbell squats).
Black powder coat finish.
The handles are attached to the bar by hammering securing pins in place which is much more stable than a screw-in handle. Important* please read installation instructions below.

Installation instructions:
*Please follow instructions carefully as the securing pins are very difficult to remove once installed. We do not provide replacement parts for incorrectly installed bars.
Note: It will make it easier to install the handles by placing the bar onto your squat rack spotter arms.
1. Once you open the box you will see the main frame of the bar, 2 x handles, 2 x pads with smaller hole diameter, 1 x shoulder pad with velcro and larger hole diameter, 2 x securing pins.
2. Place the shoulder pads with smaller hole diameter on the handles first.
3. Insert handle into the frame - align the holes ensuring that the handles are pointing neutral or slightly out. Do not install with the handles facing inwards as this is incorrect. Refer to the image below.
4. The securing pin has a tapered edge, this is the edge that should be hammered in first
5. Ensure that you hammer the pin into the hole with the concaved edges - you may need to flip the bar around.
6. Hammer the securing in through the hole on the main frame into the handle to secure them in place (please note this may take some force)
7. Once this is done, slide the pad up and it is ready to use
8. Install the middle padding piece by undoing the velcro, wrap it around the bar and close the velcro.
Under no circumstances should this bar be dropped. It should be used on the back at all times, and is not designed to withstand repeated impact on the ground.

Click & Collect available from our Melbourne location by appointment only. Please contact us via email on info@premierfitnesssupply.com.au to organize your pick up.
Orders are usually ready for collection within 24 hours (during business hours).
Note: if you order contains large items over 50kg, please bring a friend to help you carry the load. Please also bring a vehicle that has the capacity to fit the items in your order. We recommend hiring a van, truck, or trailer.
- Custom shipping invoice:
When selecting custom the 'Custom shipping invoice' option at checkout, our team will manually research and find the most cost-effective shipping rate for your order. In most cases, the custom shipping rate may cost lower than our standard rates offered at checkout.
An electronic invoice will be emailed to you to lock in the shipping rate. Once the custom shipping invoice has been paid, your order will be confirmed and fulfilled within 24 hours of payment recieved.
- Organize your own shipping:
You are also welcome to organize your own shipping at your own cost. Once you've placed your order, we'll be in touch to provide you with our collection address, total weight, dimensions and number of packages of your order.
You will then need to inform us about your collection date and company so our team can have your order ready for collection (during business hours). Orders are usually ready for collection within 24 hours.
- Shipping rates:
Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight of your order and added at checkout.

We will provide you with a tracking number once your order has been fulfilled.
We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 1 business day. Transit times can take between 1-5 business days depending on your location.
The following information applies to both Custom-Made Orders & In-Stock orders;
Important info for Delivery & Re-Delivery:
- For Items weighing over 35kg someone may need to assist the driver unload.
- Delivery shall be made to the receiver's address or other address for delivery given in writing at the time of the order.
- The receiver shall make all necessary arrangements to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
- Delivery dates will be arranged between the courier company and the receiver. Times may not be specific.
- The seller may deliver separate goods by instalments.
- Delivery to PO box can only be small items no bigger than 40cm-40cm-40cm and must not weigh more than 25KG.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage whatever due to failure by the seller to deliver the goods (or part of them) promptly or at all if insurance is not selected as an option during checkout.
- Not withstanding that the seller may have delayed or failed to deliver the goods (or part of them) promptly the buyer shall be bound to accept delivery provided that delivery shall be tendered at any time within 30 days after receipt of the order.
- Transport shall be at the receivers risk. Where the goods are collected from the sellers address the risk shall pass to the buyer upon receipt of goods from the pickup location.
- Transportation insurance is optional (not included in the shipping price) Please contact us if insurance is required.
- Delivery is door to door only. The delivery driver is not obligated to take the delivery inside. The driver is not liable for any damages caused to the property/premises.
Large Items
- Delivery charges are to the front entry of your premises on the ground floor
- Some orders will be delivered on a pallet or in a wooden crate, due to the size of the items or qty for easy and cost effectiveness of shipping.
- Delivery will be with a courier company so we cannot deliver to a PO box
- Couriers can only deliver Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Couriers cannot deliver outside of business hours.
It is your responsibility to advise us:
- If someone will be available to sign for delivery
- Is there anywhere safe it can be left if no one is home? (e.g. around the back of the house)
- If the address is a business address, please advise the business hours and also the name of the building.
- If you say you will be home and miss the delivery, you will be required to pick up from the freight companies depot.
- Alternatively, we can arrange a re-delivery however this will cost between $100-$200 depending on the size of your order.
- We cannot advise you the exact day and time delivery will occur, however we will email you the tracking details and the freight company contact details and they can provide you a better estimation of the time.
- If you request that the freight company leave a card and return your order to depot in the can that you are not home, you will be charged a fee if you request re-delivery
CANCELLATIONS:
If you have decided to cancel your order, you must do so in writing within 24hrs after placing your order. Orders cancelled after they have been processed and shipped will incur all shipping cost.
